A Day at the Community

Prayer, everyday work, conversation and the evening Rosary form the rhythm of shared life. This is an account of its elements, rather than a fixed timetable.

01

Prayer in everyday life

Spiritual life has a place alongside ordinary tasks. Personal and shared prayer offer room to focus, spend time in silence and turn towards God.

02

Caring for a shared home

Everyday duties bring people together in shared responsibility: tasks in the interiors, kitchen and grounds. The community's photographs show the kitchen, tended paths and work among the plants.

03

Working together

The garden, vegetable plot and grounds need attention. Ornamental plants are also one of the results of the community’s work. These tasks form part of everyday care for the place where the community lives.

04

Hospitality and hot meals

Alongside shared domestic life is service to travellers and visitors through the social kitchen and a place for hot meals. This is one way the community cares for people who turn to it. Please confirm availability and visiting arrangements in advance.

05

Time together

Conversation and gathering around a shared table make room for personal contact. The photographs preserve these simple moments: people together, familiar rooms and everyday surroundings.

06

The evening Rosary

The evening Rosary is one of the elements of prayer life identified by the community for this account. Its time, order and arrangements for visitors should be confirmed directly with the community.

These sections follow a thematic sequence, rather than an hourly timetable. Please email the community about visiting and taking part in shared prayer.
